About us
A local partner
working to lender standards.
Joy Group is a Burundian consultancy specializing in environmental and social assessments of infrastructure, energy and rural development projects.

Our purpose
Burundian ground truth, international requirements.
The firm combines in-depth knowledge of the Burundian context — institutions, communities, languages, consultation protocols — with a command of the requirements of international financial institutions.
It works independently or as a sub-consultant to international consultancies, providing national expertise: document review, surveys and consultations, regulatory analysis and drafting of technical chapters.
Its assignments cover the entire project cycle: screening, impact assessment, preparation of management and resettlement plans, followed by audit and compliance monitoring.
Vision
To be a trusted environmental and social safeguards consultancy in Burundi, contributing to better practice in the projects financed there.
Mission
To support Burundian stakeholders, with expertise and responsibility, in the ecological and social transition, for a prosperous Burundi that respects its environment.
